Srivari Prasadams

This is the first of my Writeup series on Sri Venkateswara Swamy different prasadams offered at Tirumala Hill Shrine. Hope you will enjoy reading this.
Tirumala Venkateswara Swami temple is famous for different kind of Prasadams. Infact this temple has a very rich variety of Prasadams, which are very tasty and delicious. One cannot has either access to or be able to see all these Prasadams,due to the fact that some of these holy prasadams are offered when the said Seva is offered Ekantham (means without any tickets and thereby no participation of devotees). It is very interesting to know about these delicious Prasadams from time to time. Lets see what they are, this is a complete list:
Different Food Offerings or Naivedyams offered and the Seva in which those offering are made:
Raw Milk : This is the very first offering to the Mulavirat of Srivaru, as soon as the Archakas enter the Sanctum and touch the idol of Srivaru(called as ‘Padaseva’). It remember us the Krishna Avathara of Lord Venkateswara, where he lived with Cowherds and his favorite thing being Milk and Milk Products. Vaikhanasa Texts prescribe that during the Pratyusha Kala Cow Milk should be offered in such a way that the Milk must be a little Warm(The Warmness acquired when the Milk is gathered directly from Cow and this Warmness is called ‘DhaarOshNam’, means the ‘UshNam’ (Warmness/Heat) produced by the ‘Dhaara’(fall) from the Cow )
Navaneetham or Butter : This is offered as soon as the doors are opened and the first few Ghosti enter the Sayana Mantapam (The Mantapam which is immediately after the Garbha Griham). The Ghoshti include the Veda Parayanadars (who sung those beautiful Suprabhatham Verses), A descendent of Tallapakam Annamacharyulu (Who sings the Awakening Songs or ‘mElukolupu pAtalu’), Sabera Ara Staff( include Paricharakas who can enter Sanctum and offer different help services and those who cannot enter the Sanctum but offer other Vaidika Services), A representative from Swami Hatheeramji Mutt( He brings the Milk and Butter in a Siver Plate containing Tamboolam), A representative from Mysore Mutt on behalf of Mysore Raja (He brings Butter in two cups and Sugar in one cup, for topping on Butter, separately in a Silver plate, containing Tamboolam and lots of Betel Leaves. These Betel leaves are used to put some butter on it and distribute it to devotees.)
Now the Archakas will perform the Circar Harathi, it’s the Harathi to honor the TTD Staff, who will officiate the Day and manage all the needful for the Devotees. They include the Two Officials, who depute for the day as Special Officers(every day officers from different departments will get the chance to officiate for the day, and the same set of people will offer service on the same day, for eg. on Monday the same officers will officate).
