Welcome to Adiyen Sri Ramanuja Dasan !
" Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha !"
We are continuing this divine service from generations after generations and We have written records upto 32 generations that we are continuing in this temple.
So even the above incident happened before 1998 or 1990, I can clearly, confirmedly say that it is totally a false interpretation. And the other thing is Vaikhanasas are born to serve Lord Vishnu as an Archaka, by birth His duty is to learn Agamas and render service as Archakas, this is a very ancient Priestly Community in India. In our Ancient tradition we only beleive Lord Vishnu as the Ultimate Supreme Power for anything that happens in this world and we dont even think about other's name for any sake.
So I request to please stop this topic, Since it is very hard for me to digest some one saying that someone else in the place of Lord Venkateswara. I couldn't even think of this in my dream or any thought alike.
Even Baba used to Visit Tirumala for Darsan like any other Devotee in old days when He is young but now due to old age he is not able to travel.
Our duty is to Worship Lord Srinivasa whose lotus feet is the Ultimate goal of every human, to get rid of this cycle of Births and Deaths and to permanently enjoy the divine bliss thru Salvation. Wasting our time in other mode of thinking extends the cycle of birth, which is so sorrowful. When our beloved Lord Himself is Standing and Showing the ultimate path to us I dont think it is necessary to think of other modes.
I ever meant any offense or any sort of degradement of other Worshippers but just love to say that I love to Worship and Devotion towards Lord Srinivasa!!
140 Q .: swami, is there anything unique about the Surya Katari (divine sword) that Lord has?
He doesnt hold it like other weapons (sangu and chakra), instead it is rested between the lotus feet of perumal?
Ans .: I would like to share my knowledge on that devine sword.
Lord Vishnu's Weapons are
1. Shanka ( known as Panchajanya )
2. Chakra ( known as Sudarshana )
3. Sword ( known as Nandakha )
4. Mace ( known as Koumodhaka )
5. Bow ( known as Saranga )
Each weapon has a inner god or diety present in them. If Vishnu touches any Bow, Saranga will enter into it without anyone's notice. Same way, the mace or the sword.
Here in Tirumala, Lord Vishnu is in the form of STHANAKA YOGA VIRAHA MURTHY
Sthanaka means Standing , Yoga means this idol is mainly for Rishis who wish to attain Mukthi, Viraha means without Sanka and Chakra or any weapons for that matter
Bhagvat Ramanujacharya decorated the lord with Shanka & chakra. I dont know who offered the Surya Kathri. Its said Surya Bhagvan gave this sword for destorying the deamons. Since Lord touches it, its also called as Nandhaka
