17-10-2008 : Today Srivaru is looking Peaceful, HE looks pleasant and great!
This Friday, as there are no special occasions, Srivaru is adorned with the usual 'Nithyakatla Samarpana', but the devotees are blessed to see Srivaru this week with the crown given by HIS Father-in-law, Akasa Maharaja.
Srivaru is adorned with a White color Silk Melchat Vastram with an Upper cloth of same color and with a Pale Blue colored border. Whenever Srivaru is adorned with a White Color Vastram, it is really blissful to see Srivaru dazzling in White Vastram. Its a treat to devotees, who have attended the Nijapada Darsanam, without Jewels and with a White Vastram. Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Padmavathi on the Chest are adorned with Silk Pattu pavada's which are of Yellow color with a Green border. On the head is the Crown given by Akasa Raja, with a Gold Thirukkolam right at the bottom of the Kireetam. Followed by the ear rings called Gold Karna Patramulu, above those ear rings present are 'Baavuleelu' on both the sides, hanging. The Gold Sudarsana and Panchajanya Kavachams on the Upper hands. Gold Bhujakeertulu on the Shoulders, Nagabharanas on both the sides of hands. The verse from Bhagavad Geetha is as follows,
