06-03-09 : This Friday Srivaru is adorned with 'Vishesha Samarpana' without the Swarna Peethambaram, as we have the Srivari Salakatla Teppotsavam festival from Mar 6th to 10th. This week I personally feel blessed to see, Srivaru adorned in a White Silk Melchat Vastram with a dark green Colored border and same colored Upper cloth. Its really a nice experience to have darsan of Srivaru, whenever HE is adorned with the 'Sveta Vastrams'.
Both of the consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi on Srivari Chest are wearing Red colored Pattu Pavadas with a Dark Blue colored silk border.
The diamond crown or Navaratna Kireetam, on the head with a diamond studded 'Tirukkolam' right at the bottom of the Kireetam and top of the forehead. The green emerald stone at the bottom centre of the Kireetam, Diamond studded ear rings(Karna Pathramulu) hanging on both the sides, Sudarsanam and Pancha janyam on the upper hands studded with diamonds, diamond bhuja keertulu on the shoulders both the sides on top of the plain bhuja keertulu, nagabharanas studded with diamonds on both the upper arms with kanti's (bracelets) at the bottom, the diamond studded Vaikunta Hastham showing the feet indicating total surrender, and the kati hasta in the katyavalambitha pose suggesting those who surrender onto HIS feet, for them the ocean of Samsara is knee deep only. The Katyavalambitha Hastha has two more rekulu(or diamond studded coverings) to cover the left hand fully.
