80. Q .: the other jeeyar swami who is generally seen belongs to which temple?
Ans .: And with this two an 'Ekangi' will be usually seen He is a bachelor who devotes his life to serve or assist Pedda Jeeyars in Tirumala Temple KAinkaryams.
81. Q .: Lord Venkateswara (Vishnu) is called Chaturdasha Bhuvanadipati ( Ruler of 14 worlds). In one of the topic I came to know that there are 7 Lokas above earth and 7 below earth (like.. Atala, vitala, rasatala.. bhuloka, bhuvarloka, satyaloka etc..) and Lord is the ruler of all these worlds. My doubt is that is the "Vaikunta" (Abode of Lord Vishnu) Loka is not a part of these 14 worlds?
Ans .: The Vaikuntam, which is the abode of Lord Vishnu, is a seperate lokam, and it is not part of the 14 worlds. In the same way, the Kailasam is also a seperate loka. The Vaikuntam is also a four layered one with Aamoda, Sammoda, Prammoda and Vaikunta lokas. There will be Deluges (pralayams), Great Deluges (Maha Pralayams) happening at the end of each yuga, maha yuga, manvantharam, kalpam. At the time of deluges the major portion of Earth is either submerged in to water or great loss of mankind will occur depending upon when the deluge occurs. If the deluge occurs during Kalpam, except Lord Vishnu and the Vaikuntam, the rest of the Universe is dissolved, like that it goes.
82. Q .: We are currently into "Shwetha Varaha" Kalpa. A kalpa is equivalent to a day of Brahma. In the current "Shwetha Varaha Kalpa" we had all Incarnations of Vishnu like Varaha, Vamana, Narasimha, Rama etc... What I would like to know is that do we have any knowledge of Lord Vishnu's Incarnations in the previous Kalpas or do we know anything abt the world in the previous Kalpas?
Ans .: As far as the information from Puranas and Vedas, All the incarnations of Lord Vishnu happened in this Kalpam only. There are totally 5 kalpams and we are in to Swetha Varaha Kalpam now. And in each and every Kalpam, Brahma have different names. This Kalpams Brahma is Padmajudu meaning is seated on a Lotus. There are no references found in either the Vedas or Smritis that we have about the previous world how it is, may be it has been lost Veda branches. What we have now as Vedas are a 30 % among the total Vedas which is lost. There may be descriptions related to the previous Kalpams in those lost part. At the end of this Kalpam, this Padmaja Brahma will unify with Lord Vishnu and again when the Creation process starts, a new Brahma is given birth by Lord Vishnu.
83. Q .: In the Tirumala Temple and in the rectangular hall (Mani Mandapam), where Garuda Azhwar is nstalled, I noticed a pillar having the Varahaswamy's picture sculpted on it and it is covered in gold. I would like to know the importance of this pillar?
Ans .: There's no special importance to the pillar, but as Lord Varaha's idol is sculptured in it, the authorities have made a gold covering, so that pilgrims wud first have Varaha Swamy darsan and then move on to see Lord Venkateswara.
