Ans .: The different Asthanams that r held at Tirumala Temple from time to time are,
Ugadi Asthanam (Mar/Apr), Sri Ramanavami Asthanam (Mar/Apr), Anivara Asthanam (July), Gokulashtami Asthanam (Aug), Deepavali Asthanam (Nov), Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam (Nov) are the Asthanams that are celebrated at Tirumala.

Some Asthanams like Ariramanavami and Gokulashtami are celebrated in the evening, Kaisika Dwadasi is celebrated in the early hours, rest of all 7am - 9am.

Apart from the above yearly Asthanams there will be Asthanam on every Sravanam to Malayappa, Punarvasu to Sri Rama, Rohini to Sri Krishna are also celebrated at Bangaru Vakili.

All the Asthanams are celebrated at Bangaru Vakili. These Asthanams are not open to all but after or before Asthanam the Processional deities are taken for procession around four mada Streets. During every Asthanam, A Special Bell is offered (Vishesha Taligalu) apart from the usual I Bell, II Bell and Night Bell, and then New Silk Vasthrams are presented to the Mulavirat and Utsava deities. Then the Utsava murthy is placed at Bangaru Vakili with special ornaments in a Sarvabhoopala Vahanam, and adjacent to Utsava Murthy Vishwaksena is also placed to the left of Utsava murthy. Then the Archaka will perform Akshatharopanam means pouring Akshathas on the heads of Utsava deities. After that Purana Patanam is performed in which Puranam associated with that particular Asthanam is recited. For eg. in Ugadi Panchanga Sravanam is done, Anivara Asthanam the budget is recited, Sri RamaNavami Ramayana is recited and so on. After that Harathi is performed , THen Rupee Harathi in which the Harathi is given in a big Silver plate and upon receiving the Harathi everybody present at that place will put their rupee offerings in to that plate which is then put in to Hundi. Then the Parivattam Maryada for Pedda Jeeyangar, EO of TTD is performed and the Satari Maryada is given to them.
