48. Q. : Sequence of Worship, Swamy, we all follow a sequence of worship to lord Balaji as told by our parents and elders. please let us know what all has to be done.
i will now tell u the sequence which v follow
1. worship Lord Varahaswamy
2. worship Lord Srinivasa
3. worship Alamelumangamma
4. worship Govindaraja Swamy
please let us know the correct sequence ? some people also say the sequence of 3, 1, 2, 4.
Ans .: As far as the Tirumala Trip is concerned the sequence is Lord Varaha Swamy and then Lord Venkateswara Swamy. the rest of the shrines the pilgrim at his own will may visit or not.
49. Q .: I heard that even ananda nilayam will be decorated with flowers is it true.
Ans .: No, Ananda Nilayam is never decorated with flowers. Infact no one(except Archakas) step near Ananda Nilayam as it is considered to show feet on the head of God, which is a serious sin.
50. Q .: How long will the entire programme of abhishekam and alankaram take,iam askin this question wrt to the time that wud be required to complete this on vaikunta ekadashi if it falls on a friday, how is it managed.
Ans .: If its on a Friday, then the programme will be like this.
12:05 Am - Tiruppavai,
12:20 - 1:30 ---> Dhanurmasa Kainkaryam, Archana, Naivedyam, Sathumorai, Nitya katla Kainkaryam , Koluvu, Archana, I Bell, Bali, Sathumorai,
1:30 - 3:00 am ---> Abhishekam (Arjitham for Vasthralankara Seva, Abhishekam ticket holders),
No Nijapada Darsanam,
3 - 4 am --- > Vishesha Samarpana to Moolavarlu,
4 am - 5 am ----> Thomala, Astottara Archana, II Bell, Bali, Sathumorai, the Nitya Harathulu,
from 5:15 am onwards Sarva Darsanam starts.
51. Q.: Apart from vishesha samarpana of daimond jewels,is the pitanabaram adorned on this day and what kind of thomalas adoened ?
Ans .: Gold Pithambaram is adorned on festival days like Ugadi, Jyeshtabhishekam, Anivara Asthanam, Pavithrotsavam, Brahmotsavam, Pushpa Yagam, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Pournami Garuda Sevas, and when there's Vishesha Samarpana like Diamond ornaments, Thomala garlands are adorned a bit less so that the ornaments can be seen clearly by devotees.
52. Q .: the general practise in local temples here is to open the vaikunta dwaram on this day and take the processional idols of SREE VARU and HIS CONSORTS through this,and in some temples THEY are mounted on a high rise so that people pass below THEM. my question is will SREE MALAYAPPA SWAMY VARU and SREE DEVI, BHUDEVI be taken inside the vaikunta dwaram enclosure surrounding the sanctum sanctorum.
Ans .: Malayappa Swamy will not be taken out for procession thru Vaikunta Dwaram. There's no practice here like that. Instead on the day of Vaikunta Ekadasi, during the Dhanurmasa Thomala, the Thomala or Garland basket carried on head by Jeeyar or Ekangi is taken out for procession first inside Vaikunta Dwaram and before that the Archaka will give karpoora Harathi to Vaikunta Dwaram.
53. Q .: who decides on the grand flower decoration and the huge light arrangements which spell bound us?
Ans .: TTD Electrical Dept. will decide arrangements for all decorations where as TTD Garden Dept. in alliance with Flower Donors from all parts of the country will supervise Flower Decorations.
