Welcome to Adiyen Sri Ramanuja Dasan !
" Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha !"
5. Q.: I heard that the statue at Srinivasa Mangapuram is taller than statue at Tirumala. Is this correct ?
Ans.: statue at Srinivasa Mangapuram is taller than statue at Tirumala.
6. Q.: Is It seven Tirupati hills represent the seven heads of Adisesha, Ahobalam, where Lord Narasimha murthy is worshipped, representing the centre of Adisesha, and Srisailam representing the tail end of Adisesha
Ans .: According to Vaikhanasa Bhagavat Shasthram Lord Venkateswara's idol is described as 'Sthanaka yoga Viraha Murthy'.
Sthanaka means Standing , Yoga means this idol is mainly for Rishis who wish to attain Mukthi, Viraha means without Sanka and Chakra.
Here Panchamurhty Aradhana is followed which is the best amoung the Temples around world. That is Lord Venkateswara is worshipped in Five forms In this the Mulavirat is for those who wants Mukthi, The tiny idol named 'Bhoga Srinivasa Murhty' is for those who wants earthly pleasures and so on.
7. Q.: After Darshan of Lord and when we come out why the complete image of the lord escape from our memory, why it is difficult remember moola vighraha again? is this the maya?
Ans .: Why the image of lord diminshes means if we see with the eyes so that we donot wish to fulfil any wishes then u will catch the divine vibrations which great sages do everytime they see Lord. But as comman humans we're not up to that divine standards so is why the tiny idol Bhoga Srinivasa is there to look after us. Whatever seva that is performed to Mulavirat is performed to this tiny idol and he is so powerful that immediately after u ask for a wish is fulfilled. This tiny silver idol can be seen in Sahasra Kalasabhishekam every wednesday.
8. Q.: I heard that the Lord at Srinivasa Mangapuram is more powerfull than Tirumala. Is this true.
Ans .: The idol at Srinivasa Mangapuram is consecrated by Srikrishna Devaraya with the help of Vaikhanasa Priests at Tirumala so that He will be always in touch with the Lord Balaji as he is a diehard devotee of him. So it is a Pratista made by Humans. Whereas in the Tirumala Temple Lord Balaji has selfmanifested himself and it is said that a selfmanifested idol is more powerful than a Pratistitha idol.
9. Q.: I also heard that the inflow of devotees has become more only after installing Srichakra infront of Lord in Tirumala by Adishankaracharya. Kindly clarify. I heard that a ritual will be performed every 12 years to retain the cosmic energy of the idol. Is this true.
Ans .: Once again I repeat There is no concept of Srichakram at Tirumala Temple. After performing the 12 year ritual 'Astabandhana MahaSamprokshana' in the year 1970 people here say that the crowd has increased.
