Q. : Sri Lakshmi Narayana Sudarsana Maha Mantra Homam!!
Ans. : Dear Bhagavathas
Today I'm fortunate enough to perform the Divine Sri Lakshmi Narayana Sudarsana Maha Mantra Homam and Navagraha Santhi Homam at my Home, according to Sri Vaikhanasa Bhagavachhastram.
And I'm very much blessed to see the result of performing a Maha Ritual and obtaining the Blessing of Lord Vishnu in the form of Big Rain in Tirupati for a few Minutes. Its said that ' Yagneshu Anthe Parjanya: Yagna Purna Phalitham Labhathi", So its a great fortune that I witnessed the result in the form of a Cool Rain in 43 Degree C, Tirupathi's Climate!!
As part of this Sacred Homam, I have performed several sacred rites which include Bhagavath Prarthana, Viswaksena Aradhanam, PunyahaVaachanam, Sadyonkurarpanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Aaghaaram, Agni Pratishta, Kumbha Puja (Atma Suktham and Digbandhanam, Avahana to the Pradhana Kumbham for Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Bhudevi and also 9 seperate Kumbhams for Navagrahams, then Aradhanam with Upacharams and also Visesha Archana to all the invited Gods, Lord Srinivasa, and then Navagrahas individual Astottaram for Navagrahas) And then the holy rites like Pradhana Homam which includes Pancha Suktha Homam, Ekakshara Suktham, Paramatmika Homam, Sri Sudarsana Gayathri and Sudarsana Maha Mantra Homam, Navagraha Maha Mantra Homam, then at the end the Antha Homam with Purna Huthi is celebrated infront of My Home Srinivasa deities. Since I was busy performing all these rites I havent got oppurtunity to take pics.
As soon as the Purna Huthi ritual, Danam is given to Brahmanas on behalf of Navagrahas, After that We are partaking the Prasadams with my family members and witnessed heavy Rain for a few minutes.
Q .: swamin whether navagraha homam is accepted by vaikhanasa bhaghavath shsastram ,because it is devatantra vandanam know
Ans. : It is perfectly accepted by Sri Vaikhanasa Bhagavachhastram as far as Worship to Navagrahas are concerned. It is directly preached by Bhagavan Vikhanasa Maharshi in Sri Vaikhanasa Kalpa Sutram itself.
And it is also prescribed in Marichi Samhitha, that these Navagrahas are to be consecrated in the Second Prakaram inside the temple of Lord Vishnu and Worship has to be offered to these Shrines along with Lord Vishnu as prescribed in Vaikhanasa Samhithas.
